Almond Nog

For eggless egg nog

 

    Make Almond milk by blending well in blender, then straining:
  • 1/4 cups almonds
  • 4 cups water
    Whiz in blender for 30 seconds:
  • 3 cups almond milk
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
    Add and blend only until the cream thickens:
  • 3/4 cup whipping cream
    Divide among 4 cups:
  • 3/4 cup whipping cream

Add blended almond nog and stir. Garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg.
Yields 4 servings.
