Internet Browser Settings
- Settings:
As found in the menu item "Options" "General" on the Netscape menu bar.
- Toolbar:
On the "Appearance" tab; lets the user set toolbar display for text, pictures, text and pictures.
- Startup/Homepage:
Also on the Appearance tab; sets the starting point for the browser when it is first activated.
- Links-displayed-retainged:
The third item on the Appearance tab; tells the browser to retain the visited link information, forever, set number of days, "expire now".
- Font:
On the "Font" tab; selecting "choose font" allows the user to set the font, and type size to use for the browser display.
- Colors - how displayed:
On the "Color" tab; user can select colors and force the browser to use the selected colors rather that the colors that are coded into the web pages.
- Images-how displayed:
On the "Images" tab; provides the user with settings for how images are displayed.
- Apps (Internet Applications):
On the "Apps" tab: input lines for indicating the path to various applications and the "temp" directory.
- Helpers - Third Party:
On the "Helpers" tab; provides a dialog to input a path to various helper applications that add extra functionality to the browser.
